I’m always on the hunt for new locations, I feel really lucky to be less than an hour away from London and yet surrounded by miles and miles of Surrey countryside. Wisley and Ockham Common was used as the backdrop to recreate the French Landscape in the movie War Horse and seemed full of promise and with ferns, heather and woodlands galore it delivered in spades! Armed with a flask of tea, a picnic blanket and lots of stamina I took my sister along with me to scout the location. It had a great rustic outdoor feel and it wasn’t until we were walking to the car park that we discovered a marshy bog which has some very cool potential for an interesting image. It’s the ideal location for a family or couple who value the great outdoors.
